Truppenführung - German Army Manual for Unit Command in WW2

I just picked up a copy of this re-published by Stackpole Books... (ok so only a soft-cover reprint, but still a snip at around £8).

I can highly recommend it - it has semi-detailed guidelines explaining how the German army managed all manner of small formations in movement, defense, attack, management of supply echelon etc. No pictures or maps, but a wealth of interesting information. A lot will probably be familiar to those who have read a few of the US army FMs, but that isn't surprising given that Truppenführung forms the basis for FM100-5 and all subsequent variations.

Could be interesting read. I have thousands of pages of military and other classics in my bookshelf, waiting to be read. Have to finish those first, hehe :P
Jawohl, katkase!
